NOTICE OF INTENTION OF ADOPT ORDINANCENotice is hereby given that the Supervisors of Delaware Township will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at the Township Building, to obtain public comment concerning the proposed adoption of the following Ordinance:ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISHED WEIGHT AND SIZE RESTRICTIONSBE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED that, pursuant to an engineering analysis performed by the Township Engineer, the use of Turbot Avenue, Township road 797; True Blue Road, Township Road 625; Fisher Lane, Township Road 798; and John Road, Township Road 621; is limited to vehicles not exceeding 38,000 pounds (19 tons) and the combination vehicles are prohibited on them.Further, that signs complying with the Regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation be erected upon the aforesaid roads advising the using public of the existence of such limitations.Following the hearing, at the regular meeting of the Supervisors that evening, the Ordinance may be adopted.Preston L.
